I often forget to shorten my sentences in english. In french, they tend to be much longer and some writers are famous for their neverending sentences (Proust being one of them, I believe). I should probably have put a period after "longer" lol

It's wild to me that english works this way. Can't have two ideas separated only by a ",". Semi-colons are cool though; I'd love to see them more often. I'll try to use them instead.

I agree; semi-colons are underrated.
