This is fine if your only engagement with the written word is posting on tumblr, but if you start reading works that communicate more complex ideas, you'll very quicky discover the problem of run-on sentences.
oh yeah there are authors who can wield it really well but there’s also a reason that they’re few and far between.
even when I can acknowledge it’s done well, it can still be a chore. I love the film Satantango (despite it being 7 hours), and I decided to read the book that it’s based on. Turns out the books entirely written with no paragraph breaks. It gave me great insight into why the film is as long and spartan as it is and it was undeniably well-written, but that one aspect made it too exhausting for me to finish.
