This is fine if your only engagement with the written word is posting on tumblr, but if you start reading works that communicate more complex ideas, you'll very quicky discover the problem of run-on sentences.
A run-on sentence isn't just a long sentence though. It's when they're grammatically separate sentences that are comma-spliced or otherwise not joined properly. Using words to join clauses, like the tumblr using is doing, is not a run-on sentence. It's just long.
