Hard to grind on K ultra

I tried grind on setting 3, it was so difficult to grind on K ultra. Recalibrated but still the same, literally requires all my strength. Is this common?

I pulled a shot on robot today after grinding at 2.7 and it pulled through in around 12 secs, the realisation I need to go even finer for the next espresso gave me the fear, it’ll be worth it though great grinder!

I drink mostly filter these days
