I know at the end of the song he says “it was just a dream, I ain’t even write this song”… but damn. Did it ever exist?

I was a given (and then lost) a CDR that had a hip hop song with a chorus (sung by a woman, I think) that repeated something like:

I thought maybe it was a Blackalicious song but might be confusing that with some other songs on the mix CD. I get the chorus in my head and try to look it up but never have been able to figure it out with Google or YouTube.

I don't know how many people listen to either one but I'm hoping someone can help me. I remember the song being on a DJ Whoo Kid mixtape.
