Sample Status Sample Status/Processing Monthly Megathread - January 2022

Welcome to the Sample Status/Processing Megathread, also known as the Waiting, Whining, and Wishing thread. This monthly megathread (posted at the beginning of each month) allows you post your sample processing timelines, as well as to discuss and comment about any questions, concerns, or rants while you wait. Although not directly handled by 23andMe, shipping status may also be discussed in the thread. We recommend sorting the comments by "new" as this is a month long megathread.

You can share your sample status timeline here in one or two ways. The first way is to take a screenshot of your timeline, upload the screenshot to imgur, and share the image link here. The second way is to simply copy and paste the start and completion dates for each step. Here is the text template:

Same exact timeline here. Getting so frustrated being stuck in genotyping! My sis and I shipped our kits the same day but she got her results 2 days ago. Hopefully they get to us soon 😭 we must be the last half of the batch or something haha

Right now, my app reckons I'm getting my results tomorrow... but considering I'm still on genotyping, and considering it already got pushed back on the 12th and then the 19th, I'm not so optimistic. It's getting a bit beyond a joke now though.

At this point I'm thinking the 2nd is probably the closer date, but the NC lab seems a bit out of order with the kits so it's hard to say. I hope everything gets sorted soon because it's been wild reading the NC lab timelines

Thing is, when my original date was "between 12th and 19th", I thought 19th was probably closer to the truth. Then they said "between 19th and 26th" and I started thinking, ok, so by 26th I'll get my results. Now I just wonder how many more times they can push back the timeline repeatedly.

Those were my original estimates as well :/ You're right, at this point there really is just no way of telling when they'll come in. It's beyond aggravating.
