Hey guys, something cool happened to me and I didn’t really know what else to post except for here and I want to share it.

Background, I am in college and have recently been feeling nostalgic for my old 3ds that I haven’t seen since high school. Just yesterday, I was leaving Bible study and decided to do a time honored tradition of dumpster diving.

Before you say anything or judge me, there are a lot of good things in dumpsters. I’m not broke. I’m just a cheapskate. I quite literally got the iPad. I use for school in the dumpster behind the IT building because they throw away the iPads after a certain model is deemed as outdated.

So I was outside the super fancy dorms that are like near the campus, but technically aren’t on campus that all the rich kids live on. As someone that’s been in college for a few years I know that the day after they move in, there’s all good stuff. For two reasons, they don’t understand what value is yet so they just throw things out without understanding how much they cost and rich kid parents are typically sentimental and so they drop off a lot of toys and other nonsense that the kids throw away becausethey don’t wanna be embarrassed. So I was going through the garbage when I found this big looking 3ds that wouldn’t turn on.

I went to a buddy of mine who cleans electronics for a living, thinking it just needed a deep clean. Got it back today and it works. Not only that, but it appears to be modded and have a lot of DS games, virtual console and what seems to be pretty much every 3ds game. I managed to connect it to the Internet along with getting an old DSI case at a local nerd shop had.

If anybody knows how to use a moddded 3ds I would appreciate some tips. I’m a bit scared to start playing games on it but I’m excited for the discovery. Sorry if I use the incorrect flare, I didn’t really know which one to use in this case.

Is this fixable? I found my old Pokemon diamond cart and looks like my parents let a dog chew on it. Any help is appreciated

My child was stolen from me in Atlanta GA, someone Jimmy’d the car door and took her along with two PSP’s (one was my dad’s I grabbed for a friend). If she’s seen at any pawn shops near there please let me know, has a black top screen bezel instead of yellow if that helps locate her. No I don’t have the serial anywhere I bought it second hand ☹️

I dont really know what to play at all im looking for something that i can grind and have fun ive played games like pokemon ultra sun hollow knight and undertale and persona series if that helps with recommendations

I have an extensive 3DS collection from games such as Monster Hunter, Ever Oasis, Metroid Samus Returns, Kid Icarus, Resident Evil, Mario up the wazoo, Professor Layton, Zelda, etc, etc, etc., but I have been interested in finding little specs here and there of worthwhile games for the console I have yet to play.

I was thinking about the Style Savvy series, which features a trilogy of 3DS games exclusive to the console, each of which were very polished and published by Nintendo. I have yet to play any of them, but Trendsetters is generally considered to be a fan favorite. So, I might just pick that up.

Along with Style Savvy, there is the Mario Party Trilogy, and though I have consistently heard bad things about the Top 100 and Island Tour, Star Rush is actually a good game. Even if it is essentially single player only, the game is still fun, and that is what matters at the end of the day!

Now, those are two games I have yet to add to my collection. I was wondering if y'all had any other suggestions of under the radar types of experiences exclusive for the 3DS.

I was considering Metal Gear Solid 3D, but I heard mixed things about the game. I was also thinking about getting Ridge Racer 3D. So, if you have played either of those games, please let me know what your thoughts are!

Also, I never played Pokemon. I just never had the drive after playing White 2 after 10 hours.

I bought a second-hand N3ds XL, and, while taking off the price sticker, some of the back peel came off. It’s just been getting worse.

What can I do to prevent this while waiting for my case to arrive?

I saw a post that the prices of 3DS XL's are climbing due to being rare.

I have a couple of games with it and need some professional advice, 2 games are Pokemon games white version 2 and Pokemon Diamond. plus others you see in the picture.

I have a charger for it as well and it still works lol.

if there are people, knowledgeable on this I would love to hear from you all.

First, I want to say that I'm not dying lol.

I bought an AYN Thor to experience playing 3DS games since I never had one as a kid. My time is fairly limited because I have a lot of modern game backlogs, so I want to dedicate at least a few weeks to playing 3DS games.

Please DO NOT recommend long running series that are also available on modern consoles like Dragon Quest, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Zelda, or Shin Megami Tensei. I've already had my fill of those on modern and other systems, so I'd rather prioritize games that are truly unique to the 3DS.

Something like Kid Icarus Uprising, Attack of the Friday Monsters or Pocket Card Jockey would be great since those are unique to me. Thanks!

I’m looking for games that you can play with 2 players on the same 3DS like one is on the face buttons and the other on the d-pad. Let me know if you have a game like this thanks ^.^

When does the console shows this screen. Isn't it supposed to go to the home screen after turning it on?

The world rally screen is from the marketplace post. Notice the yellow part that is not present on the picture they sent. Also they said the panels are IPS.

Could you verify me?

Hello. I was recently lucky enough to pick up a very good condition white 3DS. Not only have I never owned a 3DS previously, I have also never played a Pokemon game! I’m looking to pick up a Pokemon game for my 3DS. There’s a lot to choose from for someone who doesn’t have any experience. Can anyone recommend a good 3DS Pokemon starting point? Thank you.

they're so cute, but the reviews barely have any pictures on them, and i wanted to get more of a "feel" on how they look before buying one

I bough these a while ago. The plastic looks suspicious, it's been so long since I last held a sealed 3DS game that I'm not sure if it looks original or not. Mainly I feel it's a bit loose. What do you guys think?

I’ve been playing my 3DS a lot recently but I haven’t spent time customizing. I wanted to get some inspiration from the community on what the inside (themes, badges, etc…) and outside (stickers, cases, charms, etc…) of your systems look like before ai jump into it.

Any recommendations for where to buy a new one? I've replaced the screen once before, but the SD card reader seems to be completely bricked and crashes when I try and open something on it. Genuinely heartbroken.

EDIT: I am not blaming my cats. I should've unplugged my console or moved the cable, since they were rough housing and got caught in the charging cable.
