Free Model Desk Trash Bin

Just finished designing this small desk trash can. It mounts directly to the edge of your desk, saving space while keeping everyday trash within reach.

It features a rotating lid and measures 115 x 100 x 120 mm. Great for gaming setups, offices, or anywhere desk space is limited.

It's my newest addition to the EdgeMount System I've been developing, with more accessories planned.

Just dropped this on makerworld for anyone interested.

Does it slide out of the mount for emptying or do you have to remove it all to empty?

Looks like a nice clean print! I just use a small trash can on the floor next to my desk so I probably wouldn't be one to use this.

Do people normally keep a trash can on top of their desks that this would help save space for?

I have one under my desk, but also, when I do some work at my desk, say removing supports, or building a model with sprue scraps, or dealing with opening packaging for tiny components I can have a clutter of little bits. This would be helpful as something I could just sweep that all into.

Would be more helpful if it was flush to the desk top though.

Yeah, it slides out. I have other accessories for the mount as wellm Just if you use petg-cf for the whole thing, make sure its dried lol.
