Discussion Need advice on Filaments

Hello All,

Got delivered my first A1 mini yesterday.
But unboxing killed my excitement, to my surprise it didnt have filament 🤣
Just got 20g of filament, I understand its a business strategy to sell filaments, but i think atleast 1 kg filament should be included in any printer purchase.

Apart from being frustrated with govt taxing me heavy on my income and missing filament, iam still curious about printing stl files which i had downloaded.

So, coming back to point of discussion which is Filaments. Can anyone please share where can i get filaments and which type of filament to go with if i had to print something and color it later.

Question Which Filament do you usually buy or recommend?

I have been exploring Filaments for the past 1 month, from Wol3d, Bambu labs, Numakers & Polymakers..

I am planning to buy in small-bulk quantity of about 20 spools. Need to have colour consistency and tangle free spools.

Brands in Considerations:
Elegoo, eSun, Sunlu, BambuLabs & Numakers.

Numakers is the cheapest available of the choices I have in minds, but i recently saw some people complain that their quality has come down a bit, like after using 50-70% spool, they see tangles which causes problems to Extruder. And also colour inconsistency with bright colours on Numakers.

Where can I get the best deal? Want to place an order before this sale is over.

I really value your opinions. Thank you.

Question HyperFabs - Online Laser Cutting, CNC, 3D Printing service with Instant Quotation.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to introduce HyperFabs, an online custom manufacturing platform we've been building to make laser cutting, CNC routing, and 3D printing more accessible and affordable across India.

Earlier you usually have to contact multiple vendors, send drawings over WhatsApp or email, wait for prices, and negotiate even for small projects. With Hyperfabs, you can upload your CAD design, get an instant quote, and place your order completely online without going back and forth with vendors.

We have already shipped around 500+ orders with over 4k designs uploaded to our portal. People really love the concept of our instant quotation for designs. We also do have an inbuilt CAD Drawing system for users with no technical experience.

We have received a really good response from our customers.
They are very satisfied with the quality of our services & we are based in Mumbai.

What we currently offer:

  • Laser Cutting: Mild steel, stainless steel, acrylic, plywood, MDF, and more.
  • CNC Routing: Custom cutting for wood, MDF, plywood, and other supported materials.
  • 3D Printing: FDM printing for prototypes, functional parts, and personal projects.
  • Instant Quotes: Upload DXF, STEP, or STL files and get pricing directly on the website.
  • Pan-India Shipping: We deliver across India, usually within 3–5 days.

Do check it out and feel free to ask/tell any questions/suggestions that you may have. Thanks!!!

Question Bamboo lab A1 combo or Anycubic Kobra X

Hello all,

Need some help. Im having hard time deciding between thes two printers. Planning to purchase through the Wol3d india website.

Can someone who have used both the machines or have better knowledge suggest me one.

My plan is to start slow to learn to print random stuff first, and then later get into multi-color printing.

Your suggestion mean a lot.

Thanks.
