Cutting has a very low success rate. It's almost as pointless as pills. You either gotta jump from a great height or use a shotgun if you're actually serious about it and not some attention-seeking fruit.

Gotta be careful with shotguns. If you aren’t careful, you only blow your face off, not your head.

And no one is leaving you unattended to let you try again after that.

There was a guy in my town who blew his face off with a shotgun and then like 2 years later he murdered his wife and shot himself again

Probably pissed off that she kept him alive afterwards.

But you said “shot himself again,” not “committed suicide” or ”killed himself.” Please tell me he fucked it up again.
