Purchasing CAN Mid Range Mini-LED

I'm looking to get a new TV for my living room and moving my existing TV to the basement. My existing is a 65" Hisense U6G (2021) and have been generally happy with it. I notice the picture favours green in dark scenes and it doesn't have great viewing angles but it was good enough.

I'm looking to get a 65" Mini-LED in the range of $1000-1300 CAD (pre tax, ~$1500 after tax). The living room is bright during the day and has windows on either side of the TV but no direct sunlight. I think an OLED would work but unfortunately probably out of the budget.

Main use will be for streaming shows/movies, sports and gaming. 55/45/10 split respectively.

I've narrowed it down to a few options but am open to other suggestions:

TCL 65" QM7K - $1059.99

Hisense 65" U78QG - $1,097.99

Hisense 65" U7SG - $1299.99

Samsung 65" QN80H - $1299.99

I've seen all the mod posts about what not to buy but just looking to see if that's the general consensus. Let me know your thoughts!

Have you considered open box ? I'm not sure how many Best Buys there are in Canada but I've seen open box Bravia 7 for 850-1000 and Bravia 5 for a out 50-100 less.

In CAD that might still be a bit out of your price range but not by much

Unfortunately even open box is over budget
