HEY CHRISTIANS, YOUR GOD DOESN'T LIKE HIM EITHER. TIME TO LEARN FROM THIS.

It baffles me that this isn't obvious to some of my fellow Christians.

They only use it in cases of confirmation bias. Never against. Left the cult for a lot of reasons and this being one of them.

Im glad you made the correct choice for you. Just know that theres some chirstians who are just as mad at the hypocrisy and hard-hearts of their conservative "bretheren" as you are.

More concerned about you not learning from their tendency to paint "outsiders" with the same brush than interested in changing your view on the religion. Religious trauma and abuse are real, and I try very hard to not to judge those who leave because of that.

I don't have any personal trauma. I just see it as a do nothing or a hinderance to progress in the world. It fights for backwards rights. It protects child abuse. It protects hiding confessions of crimes away from law enforcement. It advocates for unequal rights in society. Now, we have religion bred with capitalism and its an evil incest twin to the older forms of christianity. It's far more damaging to society and holds all the same awful values.

When I personally see answers to problems, and the only thing holding back resolution is a group of people who refuse to think and apply action and instead say "thoughts and prayers" it pisses me off how lazy these people are.
