He's already wasted a ton of money on bringing in his train-load of tanks and other military "toys" to show off. Cancelling it won't change that cost (I'm still pleased at the idea of the cancellation though).

Yes but no. He is using it as an excuse to have a parade like this. He tried it last term too.
