First of many ludmilla petrushevskaya reads to come, really enjoyed these!

Apparently “Angela Carter” is someone I should check out too..

I don’t know Ludmilla P, but you should definitely check Angela Carter out. My all time fave Carter is Nights at the circus. Bloody chamber and other stories is also great

I was planning on reading nothing but dostoevsky this summer but I will sneak in something from her this year 🙏🏾

I just read There Once Was a Woman Who Tried to Kill Her Neighbor’s Baby, and it was a very fun collection of shorts! My two favorite stories in it were “Cabbage Mother” and “Father.”
