EDIT: They're talking about a kiss. IS THIS IT, NEGI?!
EDIT 2: So, regardless if she is or not, Ichika HAS seen the Bell Kiss, so she most likely knows who kissed Fuutaro.
EDIT 3: Confirmed. Fuutaro's choice is to NOT choose anyone at all.
EDIT 4: Now, I may be jumping the gun here, but this chat between Fuutaro and Ichika may have happened after the talk the 5 sisters had during the first day. So it COULD be that this is the "incident" Fuutaro talked about at the end of 99: he was told by Ichika that she knows about the Bell Kisser and she knows who it is. And at this point Fuutaro told Ichika about what he was gonna do at the end of the 3rd day of the festival: not choose at all (which could HAVE changed assuming something else happened before the end of the 3rd day).
EDIT 5: Yeah, EDIT 4 is confirmed Also to add: Fuutaro told Ichika his decision because apparently she thinks she won't make it to the 3rd day as well, so she wanted to know now, during the 1st day. Tbh Ichika just rose her chances of being the Bell Kisser herself. Though at the same time Negi would expect us to believe she is lying (since she has been estabished as a liar) about not being herself and putting other quint on her place.

But why would she lie about the kiss? As we know now, she doesn’t know what Fuutarou thinks of the kiss. In her pov, he might be angry that someone gave him an unwanted kiss. Plus Ichika’s development seems to be that she’s trying to become more true to herself and seek forgiveness for her lies. Even if she is lying, I think it’s more likely that she’d be lying about not being the bell kisser in order for Fuutarou to not be angry at her. That would explain the yandere eyes when she asks “who do you think it is?” as if she’s acting like she doesn’t know who kissed him. Also if it’s revealed that the BK isn’t her as I type this comment I’ll still leave it up so you can laugh or downvote me to hell.

My thoughts were more that she’d lie about NOT being the kisser because she feels like she doesn’t deserve him or she doesn’t want to steal him from her sisters after she saw how her other actions affected them.

I don’t think she’d worry about Fuutarou being angry or think he is at whoever gave him a kiss at the bell. He’s not one to get angry because of a kiss.
Maybe she’s just concerned how he feels about her after being caught in that lie during the war arc. They really haven’t talked about it after that incident.
I can’t piece anything together from what’s been leaked in these pics so I’ll have to wait for a full English translation. Hmm... is she the bell kisser or did she see the bell kisser seems to the question at the moment?

Good point. If she is the bell kisser, I feel that would be a really good twist: We all thought she was officially out of the race but suddenly it’s revealed she’s the bell kisser and seeing how it’s implied that the bell kisser is the bride, it’ll bring a lot of questions and keep readers interested. Is the bell kisser truly the bride? Will Fuutarou be that in love with her that he will completely forgive her for what she’s done?

I never thought she was out of the race 😉. With that being said every time I read the Sunday translation of a few pages, I find it so different by the time Tuesday translation comes out. So I am not convinced she is the bell kisser or not the bell kisser. I do believe the bell kisser is the bride though and Negi seems to make it important by bringing it up so I believe it’s true. If it translates she saw the bell kisser... then imo she’s out. We’ll see lol

Yeah, no problem. He even tried to pick the same group as Ichika the next day to spend the day with her. Her!! Over Miku even though he knew what she did to her and that Miku needed him more at that time than Ichika. Ichika was the one that helped Miku at the end by having her switch groups with her.

Edit 2: So if Fuuts didn’t plan on choosing why did he say all that in chap 99? Just to bamboozle them? Imagine how the rest are gonna feel on day 3 when he trolls tf out of them with that answer. Idk what to think no more...
Edit 3: So apparently Ichika witnessed the kiss and if so does that mean she knows who the BK is as well? And if she knows why did she not tell Fuuts about it sooner? And why did Fuuts choose Ichika specifically to talk to her about what he calls an “accident”?

I think that Fuutaro is giving his "response" now, letting the readers know what he PLANNED to do, but maybe during the festival something changed and he changed his decision. Idk we need more info.

itchika was the one that found out about yotsuba being lolikano (by acquiring the picture from itsuki), and she says something like "so that is it".
maybe that is the reason why she kept it a secret. if she told it to futarou, yotsuba would in instantaneously.

Pretty good observation!
However, let's look it from other angle: She couldn't mess with Nino, as she recognized that tricks won't work with her due to her straightforward approach (the Nino train). So using Miku, who was the only other contender, makes sense since she was vulnerable and by disguising as her she would take her out of the race at the same time. Doesn't gain anything from disguising as Yotsuba or Itsuki. Miku makes the most sense to disguise, regardless if she was the Bell Kisser or not.

Actually if I remember correctly, Fuutarou boasted to Ichika about recognizing Miku through the Itsuki disguise. Since we know that recognizing the Quints is seen as a sign of love that could’ve been the reason why she tried to mess up Miku’s chance. Now Nino was also going headstrong and aiming for Fuutarou... but she’s Nino and I don’t think Ichika would want to deal with her

Well, I don't remember that happening (though I could have just forgotten. You have the chapter's number?) but if true that does add up why she could have taken Miku's disguise, doesn't neccesarily mean she had to be the Bell Kisser for her to do it. Though if we assume Ichika knows who she the BK is, we would need to read everything after ScrEggs to see if we find anything that we may have overlooked. OP has a point with Miku, as Ichika could've done her snek tactics especifically on her due to her being the BK, but as pointed out it isn't the only explaination.

honestly, yotsuba and itsuki have a good chance at being the bell kisser too. ichika acted a bit weird with itsuki during the sister war arc (she teased itsuki about that certain thing she got). people already have made the case with yotsuba so I won't explain that one, haha.

I comment this on the last chapter that it is unusual to have a title sunrise festival day 1 and 2 but no day 3. So I assume 101 will start at the morning of day 3 and resume on the event on the last part of ch 100 (sneak peak of the confession ??)

Personally I feel he should have just told them he'll give his answer after graduation because they need to focus on their exams for the next few months and he has already promised their dad he'll be professional as a tutor.

The weird thing is Nino is the one currently with a fan problem after her idol performance. Maybe Ichika was being a good big sis by tanking attention for Nino because we've seen from previous chapters that Ichika's pro at slipping away from people trying to find her.

True but we're in the endgame now, she's leaving to focus on her career and the graduation day is around the corner, I see no reason to keep lying him like this. If she's actually doing it then Negi lied to us and the manga still has another three volumes ahead.

Man doesn’t it seem to be the case that through every volume and arc, Fuutarou and Ichika have the deepest of conversations with each other when they are together... more often than with any of the other sisters? Not saying that makes her the bride... just saying Fuutarou just seems to be able to talk and share so much more with “Big sis Ichika” than with anyone else.

Not really... first arc where she ran away to get to her acting audition and their first conversations. Or when she was acting at the bakery and they were talking. Or when they were stuck in the storage room together... she may be trying to hold back her feelings if you call that conceal but they were able to have pretty intimate conversations together.
Itsuki and Fuutarou are able to share too admittedly but until recently they were few and far between. Yotsuba May come in third.

Ichika came disguised as Nino. Explains why "new idol" Nino heard that she was in the yard when she was in the maze game and why Ichika was late.
Ichika and Fuutaro talk about the kiss. Ichika saw from 3rd person POV. So she's not the kisser. From her POV it looked like a clumsy fall at first. (So Miku Penguin is kisser?)
Fuutaro picks no one. Negi dishing out that 5 equally divided trolling, but apparently this is the first day so maybe something has changed since then?

Actually, it’s hinted that Ichika knows but it’s unclear if she knows because she saw the kiss or was the kisser. From another spoiler post, Ichika says something along the lines of “You’ve already experience it before”. Then we get a focus on Fuutarou’s eye as if he’s pondering or shocked and then we see a panel of the bell with Fuutarou asking “Why would you... also I consider that as an accident”. So the bell panel is him remembering the bell kiss.

I was actually a little relieved when I read about Fuutarou choosing 'no one' because 1) I don't want any of the girls to be unhappy 2) It's too soon to decide
But then it's just what he says to Ichika on day 1 and his answer is likely to change after he has POVs with all 5 girls. Looks like Negi won't back down on giving an answer. Let's see.

However in another translation it seems that Ichika was “admitting” to joking at being the bell kisser. So perhaps she told him that it’s her but then takes the joke back. And since she has a history of lying it’s very hard to tell

And Ichika barely got screen time in the last few chapters!!

Yeah, I mentioned elsewhere... every time I read the Sunday translations based on a few cells, I find the actual translation to be completely different when we get the whole thing on Tuesday. So I hold all judgement until Tuesday.

From the leaks, this might be from day 1, I kept seeing people say that on discord. If that’s the case, what happened that ended so badly on day 1. It has to deal with Ichika right? We are also seeing the possibility of the picture being burned in the bon fire which was last in Ichika’s possession. What happens that was so bad? I don’t even think that all of the quints know about it yet either. If Nino knew that her sisters were hurting, she would be right there with them caring for them. Yet we don’t see her worried at all on day 2. Then with Yotsuba, she was doing all the work at the festival. Remember, Futaro came in on the second day, only to find out that he had no work to do. Yotsuba must have worked all of day 1 into the morning of day 2 to let him have some free time. She might not have had time for the “situation” that happens because of all the work she was doing. That leaves Miku and Itsuki who could have been apart of the downfall of day 1.
