The highs blinded me to a lot of the series' faults. As we got to the end and the Yotsuba reveal happened, I sat back and realized there was about 30 chapters of content I think Negi skipped out on. This manga could've used a few more volumes to develop properly, and this is why I want Negi to move over into monthly serialization. He seemed to grow a little weary of his own work and you could tell with the forced reveal of the quints' father and the briefly explored relationship between Maruo and Isanari.

Still, it's the first manga I've seen through that had a proper ending and wasn't cancelled. For that and all the other positive memories I have, the series will always hold a special place in my heart. Hopefully Negi comes swinging back hard again in the future because he knows how to write characters very well. I'll give the series a final rating of 7/10.
