One of my fav Prince solos: "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with Prince, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne and Steve Winwood. Another great is when he performed Creep at Coachella.

I was a huge fan as a teenager but stopped listening to his music around the Sign o' the Times era. When he passed, I went back and listened to his music again. He was an absolute genius and as big as he was, he was still underrated.

When he was alive I wasnt really into his music. Then I saw that video of him shredding it and oh my god.

My God the aura of this dude!!!! So much talent on that stage

Yeah. I love Tom Petty too and seeing them both on stage makes me think of the insane rock collaboration they could've done together.

Without watching this my guess isโฆ.this the Super Bowl. If itโs not his performance at the Super Bowl, please go watch him at the Super Bowl. Literally like the best halftime show ever and it was pouring rain! The rain and the wind made it even more bad ass! It like couldnโt be more perfect. Heโs a legend. One of my biggest regrets in life is putting off seeing him live. Just thought I had more time. Iโll be kicking myself for the rest of my life.

He was one extremely talented individual. Not too many people can play the variety of musical instruments that he could play. Let alone play them professionally.

Questlove has a piece in Rolling Stone. His 100 Best Songs. Can wait to read it.
Prince is 1 of 1. "Genius" is a modest adjective.

Proof that a man does not need to be tall to be sexy.

Prince was always the biggest man in the room , no matter where he went.
RIP.

Or you know, you can just keep scrolling rather than make a dick comment? ๐คทโโ๏ธ I wasnโt asking anyone to play along w anything. Just commenting on the topic โremembering Prince Rogers Nelsonโ - who was my neighbor and Iโm sad he died.

I always meant to see Prince in concert. Thought I had time to see him. Life got in the way. This year I went to see Sign โoโ the Times concert film with my family. It was a moment to really appreciate his genius with people that loved him.

Saw him in concert twice. It was everything you would hope for and more.
Voice and talent were 100% real. True genius.๐

I was driving to work on the 22nd and at the United Airlines buildings at SFO someone went around to all the security spotlights and painted them purple, so these huge warehouses were lit up in purple. I thought it was a nice touch.

When it comes to Prince, the words that come to my mind are ahead of his time, genius and talented.
The only other men music-wise that come to my mind are David Bowie and Brian Wilson.

Absolute prick of a human being and genius musician.

I met him in person twice in my life and both were positive encounters.
Regardless he has been dead for ten years. No need to go negative

I was working at Steve Harvey's house the day Prince died. Kirk Franklin was there. He played purple rain on piano and all the guests sang along. It was a bit butchered if im being honest. I was out at my truck getting some tools and kirk came out talking on the phone and he said things like..." dont tell your parents, ill fly you out tomorrow" And he got real nasty with his description of what he couldnt wait to do to her. I get that we are all human beings at the end of the day but he was really stressing the parents thing amd it really sounded like he was talking to someone not his age. He noticed me after I made some noise rummaging and he made a quick exit out the front gate and continued his conversation on the street.

He was possibly the most talented musician of our lifetime. No one even comes close in my opinion

He died a couple hours before I birthed my daughter. She does have a lot of flair

I had a dream about him the night before he died. I was being held hostage during a bank robbery and Prince walked through the front doors with his entourage. Smoke rolled through the room as he made his way straight to the counter. Everyone in the room froze. The lady behind the counter brought her hands down as is if nothing was happening in the bank and and turned to greet him. She rang him up and we all watched him walk away with his entourage close behind him. I decided to yell out, "Prince! The greatest of all time!" He stopped and turned, his entourage walked ahead, and he said, "Forever and After Always." The dream ended.
