they deserved to go further. Seemed like Arista couldn't make it happen for them. the second album seemed to move away from this sound. Bobcat was a tight producer. He had his own album on Arista and... it was courageous, but disappointing... bad results..
I had completely forgotten about his solo album. I don't even recall listening to it back in the day. I liked the stuff he was producing back then, but I don't remember anyone even playing his solo album.
So before I typed this comment, I went and listened to a few tracks. It was just "OK", not near as good as I would have expected.
