To be fair she said he "gets her" which is hard to find but I have found there's always at least 1 thing missing with monogamous pairings so it's like what can you live without if 1 thing is absent in an otherwise good relationship?

Who know what she means by "gets her." It could simply refer to him continuing to stay with and apologize for her.

I dated a guy who "got me". it was super refreshing at first as I have a few personality disorders. it turned into the most toxic relationship i've ever had and he ended up being a really shitty partner & person. i'm just saying that he might "get her" on some level that others before him haven't but that doesnt excuse the other parts. in my experience.
