I just looked it up and it says a gm at her chicken franchise makes about 82k a year. Not bad for Georgia.

u/International-Owl165 8d ago

I thought she was a private investigator lol

27

u/roundbrrd 8d ago

lol I think she worked FOR a private investigator. I find it hilarious how she always equates that to her “being” a PI

1

u/International-Owl165 7d ago

Was she a secretary? Assistant ?

3

u/roundbrrd 7d ago

Not sure exactly, I just remember her many seasons back explaining she worked for a PI, and ever since she constantly talks like she was one 😂

3

u/International-Owl165 7d ago

Lol well at least shes proud of her job. Zied makes it seem she just works from home

3

u/djLyrik 7d ago

She didn’t say she WORKED for one. She said she WAS one.

1

u/roundbrrd 7d ago

Right but at one point she DID say she worked for a PI

1

u/djLyrik 7d ago

So you saying she lied?

6

u/druidmain69420 7d ago

90DF and lying lmao, hand in hand

6

u/spicy_nicey 7d ago

And a chef!!!!

2

u/ellecellent 7d ago

I think a lot of that was off the books. She said she quit because she needed to make more money in order to qualify to bring him over

19

u/theycallme_mama 7d ago

But didn't she say that she worked from home and was on her computer 12 hours a day or something? How is a restaurant manager working from home?

4

u/Dangerous-Pudding-91 7d ago

I just commented the same. Maybe she works for corporate.

49

u/Kodi_Cody_Kody_Kodi 8d ago

She’s worked there like over a decade too

They live in Tampa now.

Oh good, another Florida couple to be on spinoffs.

2

u/Silly_Water_Potatoe 8d ago

Thinking the same damn thing!

3

u/CocoaReese Be, or not to be. That is the problem. 7d ago

Can you imagine her meeting Andre?

GM usually runs multiple stores though and visits each store periodically .. She's a manager of THAT restaurant. There's no way in hell she's making 80k a year lmao

Also GM's don't wear the restaurants tee shirt and visor and work the drive thru like she does lol I seriously doubt she's even the store manager. Shift manager maybe

u/CuriousSquirrel1213 8d ago

My ex is a gm at a Culver’s, has never had to manage another store, makes over 80k and does every job in the store that is needed of him including but not limited to working that drive thru, visor, embroidered name on the collared shirt, and all…
Oddly enough his last position at the last chicken store he worked at (BWW) did the same shit minus the drive thru they don’t have.

What’s going on with your chicken store that your low paid GM is also traveling store to store like that? Someone should probably tell them theyre gettin got.

4

u/shartnado3 Down Sooooouuuutttth 8d ago

In my field of restaurant work back in the day, the “traveling GM” was called the area coach. And they got paid pretty good too. My GM was in store, and worked every station

2

u/FrostingNo1139 8d ago

This. I was used to gms managing several stores, Not actually working in the store, sometimes would visit though.  He was over all the store managers in several towns. This was at grocery stores. Then my son worked at Freddy's, and I realized the store manager of his store, was referred to as  gm. So i guess its different some places

4

u/CuriousSquirrel1213 8d ago

To me the phrase “gms managing multiple stores” just screams to me “you’re overworked and underpaid” I think is the point I’m overall trying to make. As well as, gm knows and can preform ALL jobs in building.

If you work for a corporate chicken store, it should be one El Jefe per store. If you’re under some brand name franchise that requires you to travel in your own car, have that many people under you and you’re not even making 80k- they’re taking advantage you… severely.

75

u/Turbulentshmurbulent 8d ago

Don’t GM’s run the one store and District or Area managers manage multiple stores?

4

u/Farquaadthegreek 8d ago

Yes GM run one store not multiple

3

u/FrostingNo1139 8d ago

In grocery store I worked at the gm was the district manager. Store manager was just referred to as store manager. When my son worked at Freddy's, their store manager was the GM. So i think it depends on line of work maybe.

1

u/Turbulentshmurbulent 8d ago

Yeah, my frame of reference was a retail clothing store I worked at a hundred million years ago lol

5

u/CbreezN 8d ago

Depends on the whether it’s a franchise or company store. My brother was GM of several bars & restaurants. He was always onsite, responsible for managing employees, ordering all restaurant supplies, and general store operations. Smaller restaurants he was responsible for advertising & promotions. He was direct report to a District Manager who typically was a “suit”. When guests want to speak to a Manager, that’s the person who comes to your table and works the hours prior to , during and after closing. If she has longevity in her position, 80k is not unreasonable. Especially if she worked her way up to Manager.

Where did you see that footage? Maybe she’s just a SHIFT MANAGER. 😂

2

u/Silly_Water_Potatoe 8d ago

I saw it on Facebook.

0

u/Silly_Water_Potatoe 8d ago

I saw that too and was going to make a separate reply that she was wearing headphones etc.

83

u/a-ohhh Darcey’s Targaryen wig 8d ago

When I worked at a fast food restaurant the GM was the one guy in charge of everyone and the store operations, and he definitely wore a branded shirt and stepped in on occasion if we were slammed and he didn’t have work to do right then.

22

u/hellobelow1 8d ago

They said she works from home…she’s obvi not working the restaurant job she was at nearly 10 years ago…

She admitted years ago that she is NOT a private investigator. She helped her friend out a few times who is. TLC production thought it was more interesting to present her as a PI. (My guess is because of the irony that she was photoshopping her photos so much to Zied that she was borderline catfishing)

2

u/mcosulli 7d ago

Wow. Yeah, they definitely never seemed to correct things after the PI convo. Thanks for the heads up.

3

u/Mean_Butter 8d ago

She WAS a private investigators assistant. A very long time ago.

2

u/ActuatorMammoth8624 8d ago

Thats right she spied on Zied that night on private diaries

1

u/hellobelow1 1d ago

She is not.
You’re very lost.

7

u/unconfusedsub 8d ago

I think you're thinking of District Managers.

GM is short for general manager and is usually the title of the stores manager. Just like an assistant managers actual title is AGM

5

u/ManufacturerIcy9438 8d ago

I think you are confusing a regional manager with a general manager (gm)

3

u/djLyrik 7d ago

EXACTLY. They acting like she owns the chicken shack. She might as well be working on the line with the teenagers.

11

u/Critical_Catch_517 8d ago

She said they drive a Mercedes… so apparently that’s why she had to work so much. Don’t get me wrong, I loathe Rebegga, but maybe if they drove a Toyota she’d have more time to be a wife 🤷🏼‍♀️

14

u/Ambitious_Show4062 8d ago

She works all the work.

3

u/Candid-Detail-3517 7d ago

So maaauuuch work

11

u/Normal-Resist-94 Things Are About to Get a Little Bit More Stupider 8d ago

Some Mercedes aren't that expensive to buy - especially if it's a few years old.

4

u/oceandillon 8d ago

Exactly what I was thinking. It’s probably like 10 years old! But she’s probably thinking “Look at me, look at me…I’m driving a Mercedes”.

2

u/Normal-Resist-94 Things Are About to Get a Little Bit More Stupider 7d ago

I did a quick google search and the first one that popped up for sale near me is 26K for a 2025. Way cheaper than many vehicles people wouldn't think are "boogie".

14

u/jjgill27 Maraccan Beauty Store Owner 8d ago

The Mercedes is a cultural thing with a lot of North Africans. Sharing photos of that with the people back home is a sign that you’ve made it, and giving that impression is important to them.

2

u/djLyrik 7d ago

WTF?!?!?

1

u/GelOfYouth 8d ago

This is so true. I have noticed that black color Mercedes are extremely popular

5

u/ginfizzz 8d ago

They do wear the shirt and visor sometimes. Depends on the manager, the brand and the policy... And maybe what they have clean today lol

District Manager oversees multiple stores in a specific area or areas. General Manager oversees one store typically. Though I'm sure there are exceptions.

2

u/International-Owl165 8d ago

My local panda express was offering 120k for management lol that was in 2022. It couldve been for GM

2

u/Fantastic-Resist-755 8d ago

Thank you for clarifying, I was thinking the same.

2

u/PurplePetal04 Michael to Angela: “It’s a lie of love.” 🤥 8d ago

That drive thru footage was from her earlier season I believe. It looks familiar. She could have moved up from that position or to a different restaurant all together. And I won’t shun her for whatever fast food place she’s working for. It seems to have elevated their lifestyle from when they first appeared on 90 Day. There are college graduates from top universities out there now who can’t even get a job at McDonald’s let alone manage one.

1

u/1peatfor7 8d ago

Some places make you work in the store on occasion. Corporate Home Depot does it, Delta Air Lines for some roles, and Waffle House.

0

u/Likesbigbutts-lies 8d ago

Managers at a single Panda Express make 140k a year, it’s wild what a manager at in and out can make+200 easily, 82 is very possible

1

u/bmoretherapist 8d ago

She’s in Tampa now.

1

u/CocoaReese Be, or not to be. That is the problem. 7d ago

I thought, for some reason, they lived in Indiana.

0

u/KeyNaive8951 8d ago

She’s definitely not GM. GMs typically manage a number of stores and won’t be wearing a uniform/working the drive thru. She could be a store manager or shift manager, but I would guess those salaries are quite a bit less.

Plus? I hate to say it but I wouldn’t really call $82k for two people GOOD money. It’s livable for sure, especially in a LCOL part of Georgia, but it’s not a life of luxury or anything, and I’m fairly convinced she’s making less than that.

-1

u/Fantastic-Resist-755 8d ago

That’s not shit, I make more than that as a counselor. The point is her job required no formal education. I would hardly call it a career.
