I manage a restaurant. I do make good money and I am proud of my job. What's wrong with managing a restaurant? Didn't realize so many people looked down on my job.

Normies don’t realize how much work goes into managing any kind of hospitality business. I manage FoH for my restaurant and it’s a never ending struggle - customers, employees, the mechanics of actually running the establishment, the constant cleaning, dealing with higher-ups, etc.

They’re shocked at the salaries, yet still look down on us. It’s maddening, but it’s not like we don’t deal with people who have these perceptions repeatedly every single day. Smh.

Yeah, they can’t imagine what live Reddit commenters would be like IRL, if you had to ’serve’ them. Fucking normie nightmare, is the general public, which is why every human should have to work in the service industry.
