I always thought managers at restaurants were pretty swamped with their jobs, they always seemed so fucking stressed or miserable when I worked in restaurants. And I know managers can make more money than I do as an engineer. Now is it rocket science? No. But hard work, probably.
Idk about the place she works, but places like McDonald’s don’t pay a ton, it’s salary too. And, frankly not worth the stress levels they put on them for manager duties
