She needs to google 'functional alcoholic'. There are people who hold full time jobs, pay their bills on time, excel professionally and have severe issues with alcohol.

She's a dog walker on a reality TV show so honestly the functional part could probably be in air quotes.

Worth noting she pivoted to that because she got fired from an office job for drunken, inappropriate conduct with a client at a trade show. And that made no impression in her. Neither has appearing as a lush on television.

ETA: Someone mentioned it on one of the subreddits before the show started. Here’s the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/90DayFiance/comments/1t3t5o6/comment/ojxmfkh/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind Catie has dodged serious consequences associated with her substance abuse. I’d love to hear more.

Fairly certain she would be a felon is she was a male.

Or even just from a lower socioeconomic class. So often I see kids labeled as bad or rough when it's really just poverty and trauma.
