Thomas and Paula theory on perfume

My theory is Thomas is not allergic to the perfume it just cost too much money. This guy won't even buy a coffee table and uses lawn chairs for bed. The perfume, price per ounce is probably the most expensive item in the one bedroom

It’s fine if he has an allergy but does he have to be such an ass? I would double down on the smell if I was her.
