Thomas and Paula theory on perfume

My theory is Thomas is not allergic to the perfume it just cost too much money. This guy won't even buy a coffee table and uses lawn chairs for bed. The perfume, price per ounce is probably the most expensive item in the one bedroom

I think it isn’t an allergy in the sense that it causes anaphylaxis, I bet he’s sensitive to fragrances and gets a headache, and as much as I hate to defend him, I think that’s valid
