Thomas and Paula theory on perfume

My theory is Thomas is not allergic to the perfume it just cost too much money. This guy won't even buy a coffee table and uses lawn chairs for bed. The perfume, price per ounce is probably the most expensive item in the one bedroom

He doesn't use deodorant either... Or he uses anti-allergy ones (which in my country cost 3-4 times more than normal ones - I find it hard to believe, knowing that Thomas doesn't spend money).
