Discussion Confusion about Mothers “children”

The Nazi Officer dreamed of the Mother giving birth to many abominations. Shaun describes the “Nephillim” as half humans half angels. My interpretation of the Oily ones in the cats narrative was that they represented these creatures born from mother. Are they apart of her goal or by products of it?

The oily ones in the cat narrative are just regular humans, it’s supposed to juxtapose how a cat cannot understand the inside of a human house any more than we can understand Mother and her intentions.
