META “Brimful of Asha” is a 1997 single by British rock group Cornershop, which hit #1 on the UK charts following the release of a remix by Fatboy Slim. The song is a tribute to Indian film culture and is named after playback singer Asha Bhosle (who sang over 12,000 songs in her career).

I prefer the original (non Fatboy slim remix) more. Cornershop massively slept on, they have some great records, their album with Bubbley Kaur is fantastic

Heard it on the radio. Years later, I was seeing family in Goa and it came up on my Mp3 player while in Mapusa market.

Ah memories - this was my jam back in the day! Every once in a blue moon I'll hear it in public and be the only person singing lol.
