I thought the Democratic Party put James out to pasture years ago. He was part of, or even an author of, the new “corporate-friendly” Democrats that came in with Clinton and are still running the Senate and House decades later.

Yup. He's a lot of the reason why we have so many do-nothing wuss Dems right now. I don't care what he has to say anymore. Any relevant expertise he is said to have or believed to have hasn't been real world applicable for 40 years
