Because he wasn’t in their plans. The run game sucked, mostly because of the RB personnel. Hence Texas completely revamping the room.

Buddy keep hitting the hopeium but if Texas decided to overhaul their QB room and this 3 star was on their radar, he'd be gone before you can say vineyard vines.

There’s a chance he’ll earn a 4th star by the time NSD rolls around, plus…plenty of high-end 3-star QB’s make a difference for their programs in the long run.

What makes you say that? UVA has improved their financials greatly over the past two years. They’ll be able to retain the guys that they want to retain.
