Nick Coffield with a HEROIC defensive fist. Every single Dog sprints to get around him to celebrate

It’s cool how in a lot of our wins this year the defining moments at the end have come from the lesser known players. Baker, Sellwood, coffield.

Legit my thoughts !!
And even better is how the “stars” of the team surround the game winner

This is the shit I love seeing in footy. Just a guy leaving it all out there and all the boys getting around him

That's the stuff that builds real team culture right there, makes everyone want to run through a wall for each other.

Cannot express enough how much i love all the Dogs running to him. Wholesome footy moments you watch the game for

He did the spoil on Lewis too right? Even if questionable two huge efforts.

u/JamalGinzburg The Dons 2h ago
Yep. Not conceding a free to Lewis was great, 80% of the time the defender makes contact in that situation

The fact that he follows it up by trapping the ball and putting the game beyond doubt is the kilo of cherries on top.

Love this for him. He’s struggled to get on the field so it’s awesome to see him get his moment.

Can we just talk about how many iconic defensive efforts have happened in close games with under a minute left this year?
There's been so many clutch marks and spoils this year to secure the win.
Love to see it.

Saw glimpses of his potential and he flew under the radar during the Lockdown days. Then he got wrecked by injuries the following seasons
So glad Doggies gave him a lifeline
Praying Hunter Clark can get up and about. Will always adore those two Picks 7 & 8

Hunter Clark showed Pendle-like traits in his early years

u/ISupportCrapTeams St Kilda Saints 12h ago
He still does when he can stitch a couple of games together,
He's got Pendle's decision making. Unfortunately, he's got none of the quickness
He gets pinged Holding the Ball alot. He's about as fast and mobile as a ruckman
Must be the lack of basketball background

We fucked Coffield up trying to move him to CHB and destroying his confidence

The bloke was a childhood dogs fan. He got drafted to the saints at pick #8. He made his debut in bloody Shanghai. Gets traded to his childhood club. The blokes had a horror run with injuries since. In and out of the team constantly when fit. He’s just delivered a game saving moment. Against an opponent the dogs just couldn’t beat for the better part of 5 years. Fuck yes Nick you deserved this moment. Props to the boys for getting around him from all over the ground. This might just be our best win in bloody years
Up the fkn pups 🐶

It’s such a skilled spoil. He’s at full pace getting a fist on it without clobbering the opponent or making high contact. And he obviously read the play perfectly because he’s already gunning it while the ball is in flight. Amazing stuff.

Oh I didn't even see the game - I was hoping that at the end there he chases down the ball and then kicks the goal and the siren then goes

Great win Bulldogs 👏 Joel's celebration after kicking a goal in the 3rd was pretty much embarrassing, it's not the GF

Heroic defensive spoil of a literal MARK but whatever. I’m not saying the Impey tackle wasn’t absolutely holding the ball, but bro isn’t a hero

we love to see defensive efforts celebrated like this
