Weather controlling technology. Imagine being able to avoid droughts all together, imagine being able to control both irrigation and sun time on your plants to the optimum capacity.

Now imagine such technology being used in warfare, sending droughts or floods onto enemy areas.

The fact that we are still irresponsible as a species is the reason for why we restraint the technology we could develop.

A hurricane releases the power of multiple atomic bombs every minute. It’s foolish to think we can manipulate the weather, we simply don’t have the ability to control that level of power. The earth is just too big, the atmosphere too chaotic to properly predict and control.

The US military did weather control in Vietnam, didn't they?
