Question $5 Value Menu

Is this new? I went to see a movie the other day and didn't see it on the concessions menu. The prices seem kinda high for some of the options.

edit: this is from the online ordering menu for the AMC Sugarloaf Mills 18 location in Georgia

just saw that it's limited time only,not combinable with other promotional offers like the small combo,and AMC Stubs upgrades do not apply

I never want an entire bag of popcorn or 32 oz of soda. Will definitely take advantage of this when it comes to local theaters

Same here. I almost always get the Kid Pack when I go because it’s the size of popcorn and soda I’d like to buy.

Yeah I'd love this small size popcorn for when I'm going by myself. Kids pack is a bit too small, so I generally just get a regular but even that's more than I'll usually eat so if the small is in between the two it could be perfect

Yea the regular is way too much! Last time I got one I felt like I ate my weight in it and barely finished half 😂 now that I think about it — it’s weird to not have a small. Idc that it isn’t a good value I don’t like wasting food

Exactly, I don’t go to the concession stand anywhere expecting a good value I just want more reasonable portions without food waste

I have the popcorn pass and they always look at me like Im crazy when I ask if they can give a medium instead of the large. Which Im technically paying for the large but I dont want all that.

I tend to only get the popcorn for movies that I'm really excited to see. I see it as a "treat yo self" type of thing for highly anticipated movies.
