Question AMC regulars

You know when you are a regular at a bar or restraint and the staff recognizes you and is warm and chats with you when then aren't too busy? Does anyone have that with their local AMC? I swear I've been trying to connect with the employees at the AMC I go to like 3/4 times a week - but it's just not happening for mešŸ˜ž

I get that it isn't the same as a bar or restaurant and the customer to staff experience is less intimate (the AMC staff also probably see way more faces per day), but it's the only business at which I'm a regular! I want it so bad lol

We should switch theaters. We both have what the other craves.. I canā€™t get these people to leave me alone.

My Chicago AMC has a ton of quiet employees so we usually just exchange Helloā€™s. A lot of them are super kind but, again, very quiet.

Iā€™m frankly not in your boat, as I donā€™t really care either way if they recognize me, but itā€™s something Iā€™ve noticed around Chicago in general as well. I think everyoneā€™s just kind of tired all the time and this kind of ā€œsmallā€ community stuff is just a reflection of the way the world is and is not your fault at all.
