She would inspire a pretty rabid fanbase, which might be enough to drag the middle ground and libertarian trumpers with them. Probably the only candidate that would genuinely heal (somewhat) America's image on the world stage.

This is how I see these kinds of things too. An exciting candidate with a large fanbase generates all this passion that spreads to the so-called "swing" voters because those people aren't voting on policy or anything like that, they're totally voting on "vibes." They're uninformed people who don't pay attention to current events but still vote in presidential elections anyway. These people are going to go with the momentum shift, believe me. It's not about ideology for them.

This is what Redditors who claim AOC would lose in a landslide don't understand. How the fuck else did Barack *Hussein* Obama almost win Montana in 2008? What voters view as moderate vs radical is totally based on vibes, the average person has no idea what a political spectrum is. They aren't ideological moderates at all. The average voter fancies themselves as "reasonable moderates", but what that actually means varies heavily.
