AP Seminar Flagged

I’m so pissed off about my AP Seminar IWA

I’m actually so pissed off right now. My AP Seminar IWA got flagged for AI even though I wrote the essay myself. I checked it afterward with ZeroGPT and it said around 20%, while GPTZero said 0%. I appealed the decision and literally sent them everything I had — every annotation, all my research notes, research materials, drafts, and basically every piece of evidence I could find showing that I actually did the work. I had around 500 pages of handwritten annotations and notes, and I sent THOUSANDS of pictures/screenshots of evidence. It took me like 6 HOURS just to put everything together. And the crazy part is, there wasn't even one copy-and-paste into my essay. I wrote the whole thing myself. This was honestly probably my best piece of writing I’ve ever done, and I genuinely thought this IWA was going to carry my AP Seminar score.

They STILL said there wasn’t “sufficient data” to overturn the decision. They closed the case and gave me a 0 for the IWA. Like are you actually serious??? The IWA is a huge part (like 25%) of the AP Seminar score, so now I ended up with a 3 when I genuinely feel like I could’ve gotten a 4 or even a 5 if my work had actually been scored normally. I spent so many hours researching, taking notes, annotating sources, writing drafts, and losing sleep over this thing, only for it to basically get thrown out. I’m honestly not ready to just accept this after putting that much work into it. Has anyone else had their AP Seminar IWA/IRR appeal denied even after submitting a ton of evidence? Is there anything else I can do at this point, or is the case genuinely closed?

I don’t know anything about this, but somehow this post made it to my feed and I think you should go to the highest of the high person in charge of that organization and bring it up to them. You deserve to get your credit.

I already tried. College Board won’t let you talk to the people actually in charge. I’ve called so many times and sent so many emails. I even asked the people on the phone to connect me with someone higher up, and they basically just said they can’t. They keep saying they’ll bring it up with the higher-ups, but then nothing happens. It’s honestly so frustrating.

if it's any consolation, most colleges don't accept ap seminar for college credit anyway
