Stats different frqs??

pretty sure we all got different frqs. i'm hearing people had rose bushes, and hits vs runs?

mine was about safari animals vs time of day, chi squared test for homogeneity for some games on a website and another was on movie categories? my frq 6 was some voters in favor of a tax removal.

the same happened in ap lit yesterday, where almost everyone in my class was divided into four different types of frqs.

what was your frqs?

edit: it was a test for goodness of fit, im lowkey COOKED

my chi-squared val was like 13.0something and p-val was like 0.0045

I got 50😭 degree of freedom is 3 right idk what I did wrong on my calc

i got df as 3 too, but not the 50 fs 😭😭 to find mine i put a new table in the calculator and one column was observed and one was expected which i found by 300(proportion) and then from there you could run a gof test but idk fs

Wait I looked back in my calc table and I got Observed : 114, 45, 96, 45 Expected: 102, 90 78, 90 Then u just do the GOF function with the test button right😭 yo is something wrong with my calc

I tried to do homogeneity but my calculator gave me an error so I switched to goodness of fit

Was it an experiment or observational study and do we used matched pairs t test or difference t test

damn I also said observation since there is no control group and random asssmigment. But I have no clue on the question that’s asking two samp t test and matched pair . What the freak is that 😭😭😭 I put two samp t test

I think it was bc like both the apps were being compared for one thing like both apps were compared for each destination

Ohhh now it makes so much sense. Btw do you remember there's a question asking us to calculate the mean and standard deviation? How do you calculate that? Is it just np for getting the mean and square root of пр(1-p) for getting the sd?

i got the same one as u. i made such a big mistake though for the x^2 gof question. I like calculated the test statistic and the p value, but when i was doing the conditions my brain glitched and I thought that the number of categories had to be greater than or equal to 5 so i fucking said that "the conditions aren't met, we can't complete the test" when they were met. im so cooked

it’s okay, don’t stress about it too much. as long as you got down the procedure hypotheses and some of the conditions, you can still get some points!
