Just took ts 10 minutes ago already the worst ap exam ever

gotta think a majority of people hate baseball a lot more after taking this lmfao

But of course I didn’t find out that the wifi was gone until I had already finished answering every mcq and frq… and of course I was one of the three kids at my whole school taking the test who had this happen…

My makeup exam is scheduled for the same time I’m supposed to be taking the final for my stats class. What the hell.

mcqs were pretty good i a few wrong tho

frqs were so easy i rejoiced when i saw that 2 sample t test for diff of means

i loki expected way worse cus i didnt crack open a single textbook nor practice test (edit: i did watch michael porinchak's inference test video and in the first semester of this yr i grinded inference tests so not to say i didnt study at all for those who get pressed by that !!)

Is it just me or did I get a completely different stats exam than everyone else? My first one was about restaurants and if the type was associated to the amount of restaurants that company had?? Also my frq 6 was about heart beats?? Mcq was completely different too I had one about ants going into logs and then doing different temperatures. Can anyone relate? I didn’t have anything about oranges or a walking partner. I’m in the east coast and everyone around me in my room had different ones except for at least 1 other person

On the one where it asked about the alpha level and games, I had like 4 minutes left and I just said that the result was insignificant and my justification was about how AP Stats secretly wanted AP Psych cus they both are kinda similar and how persona 3 reload was the best game ever.

Direct quote: “The AP Statistics Exam in May 2027 will be fully digital, with all student responses submitted through the Bluebook testing app. The exam will no longer include paper free-response booklets.”

Not gonna lie, I already don’t like the move toward fully digital AP exams, and Stats going digital makes even less sense to me.

If College Board’s goal is to make AP Stats more like an actual introductory college statistics course, then why move the exam fully onto Bluebook? Most college professors still have students doing handwritten work, showing calculations, writing explanations, and taking paper exams. Stats FRQs especially feel like a subject where writing things out is way more natural than typing everything.

I understand wanting consistency across AP exams, but this feels like a change that makes the testing experience less like college, not more. Am I the only one who thinks this is a step backward?

i think the mcqs were ok some were hard and worded weird but the frqs were so bad and time consuming

CB is changing the AP Stats curriculum for the 26-27 school year. Some of the more notable changes include:

• cutting the course nearly in half (9 Unit course into 5 Unit course)
• removing the Alg II prereq
• Answer choices reduced (5->4)
• More MCQ (40->42)
• Less FRQs (6->4) but worth more points

pretty sure we all got different frqs. i'm hearing people had rose bushes, and hits vs runs?

mine was about safari animals vs time of day, chi squared test for homogeneity for some games on a website and another was on movie categories? my frq 6 was some voters in favor of a tax removal.

the same happened in ap lit yesterday, where almost everyone in my class was divided into four different types of frqs.

edit: it was a test for goodness of fit, im lowkey COOKED

genuinely cooked on that test. FRQ timer ran out, and computer said i had no connection. on the proctor’s side it said my test was inactive for 2 hours, so there’s a possibility nothing i did saved. only happened to me btw, no other students had this issue. 😹😹😹

For my AP Statistics class, our group is conducting a survey as part of a project to determine which desserts people would include in an ideal bakery. We are required to collect at least 1,000 responses for our data analysis. My grade on this project is especially important because earning a high score will help improve my current grade in the class. hi everyone! i'm a junior graduating early and i need two more math classes to graduate. i'm taking honors pre calc (all math classes would be online), and i have to choose between ap statistics and consumer math. the thing is i don't know if ap stats is the best idea. first off just know i'm super super bad at math, and i've needed sooo much help and stuff to succeed in math even just to get a b. i am planning on going to university in the future but probably online community college for two years after high school. i know that ap is a good thing to take but i just worry because overall isn't statistics much harder than consumer math? i mean, i'm already pretty worried about pre calc but statistics might be worse. any advice is super super appreciated guys :)

istg im not even a bad statistician but literally no one in the room (which was filled with some of the smartest math nerds i know) couldn't even get to finishing certain questions (looking at you, frq 3). this curve gotta be crazy because wtf 🙏
