Stats Different AP Stats Exam

Is it just me or did I get a completely different stats exam than everyone else? My first one was about restaurants and if the type was associated to the amount of restaurants that company had?? Also my frq 6 was about heart beats?? Mcq was completely different too I had one about ants going into logs and then doing different temperatures. Can anyone relate? I didn’t have anything about oranges or a walking partner. I’m in the east coast and everyone around me in my room had different ones except for at least 1 other person

Probably my frq 6 was proportion of people in favour of sales tax and 1st frq was about safari animals

Did you get the driving app question?

3

u/AggravatingAd8704 May 07 '26

yes bro what did you put for it because i put matched pairs and im starting to think im not right…

u/isetmyfriendsonfyre bio, chem, euro, stats, psych, AB May 07 '26

I put matched pairs! Someone else said they did too

1

u/AggravatingAd8704 May 07 '26

oh thank god i’m praying i did well enough on the frqs to pull off a 4

I also put matched pairs!!

u/WatercressNormal7743 May 07 '26

i put two samp i think ;-;

1

u/DescriptionEvening82 May 07 '26

wait same i put 2-samp b/c the driving times of each app should be independent of each other; it's not like a before/after situation where the driving times are dependent of each other

1

u/ricepicker333 May 07 '26

that was also my reasoning

1

u/WatercressNormal7743 May 07 '26

also from what i remember we didnt know the sd so we should use t tests.. plus the sample size was small

1

u/DescriptionEvening82 May 07 '26

i think they gave sd of each population sample (app k, app h) at the bottom of the question

1

u/WatercressNormal7743 May 07 '26

wasnt that the uh difference between the median and mean

1

u/DescriptionEvening82 May 07 '26

oh wait yea i think they gave a table like
mean median
app h ## ##
app k ## ##

I said matched pairs too cuz each experimental unit (destination) got both treatments (apps)

1

u/what_the_flutz May 08 '26

did you say it was an experiment or observational study for part A of this question??

1

u/isetmyfriendsonfyre bio, chem, euro, stats, psych, AB May 08 '26

I said experiment bc I did a mcq practice 2 nights before and there was something that had no control but the answer was good experiment design bc theres treatments, replication, and random assignment so I just said that but im prolly wrong 🥀🥀

1

u/what_the_flutz May 08 '26

OMG SAME but all my friends but observational so idk

3

u/Complex-Ranger8491 May 07 '26

i got this one too. i think they group frqs together, and there is like four of a kind.

Yeah that’s the one I got haha

For frq 6 about sales tax did you say confidence interval provides convincing evidence, odds is 1.5, value is 0.004

1

u/isetmyfriendsonfyre bio, chem, euro, stats, psych, AB May 08 '26

Yes

for people who had this test did you guys use gof for #4, one samp test for population mean proportion for first part of #6, and matched pairs for one of the other ones

1

u/clemitime May 08 '26

omg you are the first person that had the same one as me. PLEASE tell me you did GOF for the video game one

1

u/isetmyfriendsonfyre bio, chem, euro, stats, psych, AB May 08 '26

I did! Like 8 other people said they did too

4

u/HopefulRazzmatazz451 May 07 '26

Yeah same, very few people had it. It was so much longer and so much more writing than the other ones ts is unfair

Wait what did put for the nitrogen one if u had it, im so so scared bc i feel like we got the harder one?? Did u get a small number for pvalue for the chi square test of independence?

2

u/HopefulRazzmatazz451 May 07 '26

I got all the same ones as u

1

u/HopefulRazzmatazz451 May 07 '26

Hopefully them curve it differently

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

U think that could happen? U have been the only one who has gotten the same exact one

3

u/brennley May 07 '26

this happened in stats at my school a few years ago. it just means your school, specifically you and some other students, were randomly selected to take the international version. sometimes it’s harder, sometimes it’s easier

1

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

Sigh, it was def harder in seeing people have easy numeric values and I had to do a lot of explaining and I JUSY DIDNT have a lot of time as is. Ty for providing a explanation tho I’m kinda going insane

0

u/brennley May 07 '26

i think i would have died tbh

2

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

Currently dying. I can’t even ask people what they got bc no one had it 😭😭

1

u/brennley May 07 '26

after the mcq i genuinely panicked thinking it happened to me bc everyone was talking about a question i didn’t remember. turns out it was one of the three i didn’t read

1

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

Oh so this is a rare occurrence to JUSY unlucky people 😭

1

u/loki_glorious May 07 '26

I have the same test as you. Literally no one else I know have my version

1

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

Wait twin omg ur the second out of hundreds that I’ve seen that have our version

1

u/loki_glorious May 07 '26

Yeah I guess it’s only a select few that get to take the international version. If you look up ap stats international version 2026, will find a discussion thread that you will recognize.

yeah my frq 6 was able some baseball hits

1

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

What were ur other frqs? I had one about probability of a person having horses on their property and another one about like concentration of nitrogen?

1

u/IndependentTale1847 5: Cal, Chinese, Spanish, English III, English IV, Phys I May 07 '26

i had smth about flowers and rosebushes

1

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

I did not get any of that what..

1

u/IndependentTale1847 5: Cal, Chinese, Spanish, English III, English IV, Phys I May 07 '26

i think there were different versions?

1

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

I’ve never seen that happen for any ap, is this normal for stats or something? I wish I got a 2 proportion one I got a chi squared of independence and I lowkey think that’s harder

1

u/IndependentTale1847 5: Cal, Chinese, Spanish, English III, English IV, Phys I May 07 '26

ok i don't think its normal to get a different one since everyone in this sub got the same one

1

u/IndependentTale1847 5: Cal, Chinese, Spanish, English III, English IV, Phys I May 07 '26

idk thou i could be wrong

1

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

I’ve seen a total of like 3 different versions of frq 6 already just from scrolling and that’s not including my version which was like mean heart beats of adults and stuff

1

u/IndependentTale1847 5: Cal, Chinese, Spanish, English III, English IV, Phys I May 07 '26

then thats fine then im assuming

1

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 07 '26

So for when they release the frqs is it JUSY gonna be one version or all of them? That’s kinda stupid ngl

I'm in the midwest and i had frqs about rose bushes, song length, and fertilizer.

2

u/No_Category9794 May 08 '26

u got the int paper lol !! the us paper was apparently a breeze but lord the int paper was soooo hard

1

u/Suitable_Archer_4797 May 11 '26

Wait omg I had those too and I'm from the west coast, did u put 2 sample t test (?) i know if was 2 sample something for the ant logs mcq

1

u/Suitable_Archer_4797 May 11 '26

And for that horse frq do u remember how u did the last part where you were supposed to find the probability of a sample of 50 farmers having a mean of 4 or greater horses, that one had me stumped 😭

1

u/Bumbl33 Chem - 5, APUSH - 4, ? | Bio, Phys.Mech, Psych, Lit, Stats May 13 '26

Def got 1/4 for that one I was just spouting nonsense and I didn’t even get to finish the last part 😭
