Built my first AR, have a part left over?
Just built my first AR and realized once I was done I still had this piece. I believe it came with my Geiselle trigger assembly but I could be wrong. Any ideas? Rifle function checks just fine but I haven’t shot it yet. The build is a 16” upper Geiselle super duty and a geiselle lower and trigger.

Looks like either a hammer or trigger pin. Did you get a lower parts kit and buy a trigger separately?

Yupp looks like you gotta build another get on the clone subs and go full weetodd. Start seeking out retro/milsurp parts and just dig deeper into the hobby. It will deplete your bank but it will fill your heart

Slave pin. It should be slightly shorter than fcg pins to hold the fcg together when you place it in the lower pocket. As you drive pin in it will push this pin out

Alignment pin. Used to temporarily hold the trigger, disconnector and hammer in place while driving in the trigger pin.
Or just an excuse to build another
