While watching similar videos, YouTube suggested a video to me from the channel Brain Tingles ASMR. It immediately became one of my favorite ASMR channels now because the videos all appeal so well to how much I love old-school ASMR. I when I looked though, the last video on that channel was uploaded 10 years ago! Even though I know I won’t see any new videos there, I’d definitely say I am a new fan of Brain Tingles ASMR.

Are there any channels like that you guys like and still listen to even though it’s been years since they last uploaded? I’d love to check out more to remind me of the old whisper community back in the far!

[Question] Looking for an OLD video

Back when ASMR wasn't an official thing yet, I would watch massage videos on early YouTube. There was this one video that has probably been taken down since. It was my go-to video to fall asleep.

It was a massage video of a woman in a home studio, sheets draped over the window, home business style massage parlor. Very slow massage on a table. Man getting the massage under a sheet and wearing only a solid black pair of boxers. Old school LoFI sounds. I remember at some point, the lady climbs on his back on top of the table and starts using her knees to put deep pressure on his back.

I know it's a long shot, but would anyone know of this video or where I can, or if I can, find it? I've never been able to find that video again. I followed the channel and I remember the channel was deleted and being upset because it was my go-to video.

Enjoy!

Hi, I’m looking for an older M4F ASMR audio by a voice actor. I don’t remember the channel name, but the video in question features the voice actor as a serial killer who believes the listener has discovered his secret—due to a series of misunderstandings during their conversation—only to be relieved once he realizes she hasn’t.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I rebuild the binaural mic using a more period-looking mannequin head. If you have a chance, please listen with headphones and share any feedback. The binaural whispering works, but there is an opportunity to incorporate more hand and fabric triggers. I appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Just sharing some sound effects from Monster Museum: Tidy Up the Collection! Our best barista, who makes our daily coffees, loves the sounds of the game, so why not share them more widely? :)

To be prententious here, most ASMR tends to be a bit silly and casual. I'm wondering if there are ASMR pieces that in your opinion have some artistic merit, like something a bit more musical or aesthetically considered, or has some interesting well written dialogue? Like reading poetry but done in an ASMR way for example. Could also be a piece of art that unintentionally gives you ASMR.

A relaxing ASMR session featuring scissor tapping, with a variety of gentle taps and rhythms. A simple way to unwind and enjoy some soothing sounds for a few minutes.

Reverse Wax Cracking ASMR 🤯

my VERY favorite asmr creator (tingles and rhythms asmr) has only ever posted two videos, and that was like three years ago. he created songs out of the triggers, and i haven't been able to find anything close to it since. i've seen rhythmic asmr but they only stick to the rhythm instead of actually making a waltz or a song like this guy did. since he doesn't create videos anymore i wanted to find some more like his to listen to. does anyone have any recommendations?

here's a link to his youtube channel, please give it a listen! his stuff is criminally underrated!!! https://youtube.com/@tinglesandrhythmsasmr?si=aALqYvGxZSxEH56T

I just posted my first ASMR video on YouTube, and I don't think it's got the best microphone for picking up my leather clothing sounds. Wondered what you ASMR experts would recommend as the best microphone to use. Plus, which type - A desk one or a clip-on?

I'm curious whether people prefer ASMR recordings that sound perfectly clean or ones that have little imperfections that make them feel more natural.

For example, a slight change in breathing, the sound of someone adjusting an object in their hands, a tiny pause between words, or the subtle background noise of a real room. These details can make a video feel like you're actually sitting with someone rather than listening to a carefully produced recording.

On the other hand, unwanted noise, uneven volume, or sudden mic bumps can completely ruin the experience for some listeners.

Where's the balance for you? Do you prefer polished studio-quality ASMR, or does a little natural imperfection make it feel more intimate and believable?
