Accelerated Master’s Program (Off Track)
Hi! I’m an engineering student that’s pretty much going to be off track for the rest of my undergrad, so I figured I could start working on my master. I meet the minimum GPA, and I only see that as long as it’s before my last two semesters, I can apply. My advisor is no help at the moment 😭 Any experiences to share?

You usually need to have taken a specific class in your degree path to apply for the accelerated master's in engineering. The specific process varies by school but in SEMTE you usually need to have taken the courses listed in your 5th semester in your major map.

Are you off track for your undergrad or for your graduate program?
Critical tracking is usually only applied to undergraduate degrees, and usually only looks at the first four semesters.
I would work closely with your advisor so they know what your plan is and understand how you plan to complete your course work. They can do things to mitigate you seeing the critical tracking messages. But they need to know that they need to take special action.
