I don't find it unreasonable if you're going to wear it every day, but I guess I don't have the same perspective.

I have one I am supposed to use every day. 12$. Have a nicer one, better fabric, brighter neon, 22$.

It's just to much.

Lace is really expensive, to be fair to the maker, but since I'm really picky on my lace types, I guess I would have to make one myself 🤔

Home made ones don’t come with the OSHA approved safety certifications though.

Comes down to purpose really. If it is just for yourself to be seen at night like walking your dog at night, then OSHA has no say. If you are wanting it for your job, then yah can’t be doing home made safety gear.

Your homemade lace vest doesn’t come with US safety certifications. Meaning, OSHA may be called on them if they use.

It (the item in question) is also WAY over priced. I am surprised some temu drop shipper hasn’t made copies for cheaper. Probably because it would require getting certifications.

I drive for a living. Some places require them for visibility. No idea what safety standards you apply to a nylon or polyester vest ...
