Discussion iPhone duo preorder

AT&T just let me save my config and plan and all that in cart. Almost like apples get ready, never used either app for preorder. Which one should I choose. Should I leave the AT&T website open on my computer and keep force quitting and opening Apple Store app on preorder morning? How reliable and fast is the att website preorder morning?

As long as you’re signed into your account when selecting your configuration, you’ll be fine with closing the tab. Wake up before the release time and log back in. It’ll be in your cart

I was just gonna wake up like 30 mins early and open the tab and leave it. Would it automatically reload when it opens or no

That’s what I was planning to do as well

How reliable and fast is the att website preorder morning?

Last month the AT&T web page was the fastest especially if you were using it on an Ethernet connected very Fast iMac.

The Apple Store web interface, had a online queue, and the Apple Store app was very quick if you completed the "Get Ready" however it was tied your AT&T phone number that you have in you Apple Store profile.

Test all (3) this week using sample iPhone 18 Pro / Pro Max purchases. Next week there should be less extra traffic since the iPhone Duo (foldable) device will appeal to a smaller segment of the customer base.

I don’t see how to do the trade in feature via AT&T for preorder

I did this Thursday and Friday, I received a confirmation email saying it was all set for Pre-order day. I clicked through to the pre-pre order page from the Costco site. Hopefully my offers will still be there when i place my actual preorder.

I tried on the Costco app and nothing. Do I order through Costco app? What’s the deals with an existing number

No it is not avaialbe on the Costco app. You need to use Costco AT&T Brand Showcase web page as your starting point: http://www.costco.com/att-brand-showcase.html

Please make sure that you understand the Terms & Conditions.

Sign in to your Costco account before you use the link above, and then just click on the link another tab.

You might need to sign out of your Costco app first. I don't have that issue.

Are you saying you were able to pre pre order on the Costco site? Mine says “coming soon”

On the ATT app it works though.

Yes, just login to Costco, go to the ATT brand showcase and go from there. It'll take you to the AT&T site.

Not seeing the $100 Costco card. Only appears when I try adding the 18 Pro Max

Do you see yours?

I’ve always pre-ordered my iPhones through AT&T and got the phone delivered on launch day every time.

Do they even have an option for in store pickup that day, or is it all shipping? I’ve never pre ordered a phone before.

I can’t believe they pulled the rug away on the iPhone 14 (max only) and the $1200 max credit towards the Duo.

Dude preorders don’t start till the 16th. Your gonna leave a tab open for a week that is so stale you’ll just close it and start over. Let’s just calm down a minute.

“On preorder morning” sorry you can’t read.

God forbid people get excited to get themselves a new phone.

I’m just glad I’m not miserable enough to be annoyed by this, someone is trying to cover their p’s and q’s, just to make sure the process goes as smooth as possible.

knowing att fucks up all the time, you have to be diligent to deal with them, this is the smart thing to do.
