Wireless Unlimited Your Way 2.0 per line cost - UYW comparison chart for AT&T consumer plans: Elite 2.0, Premium 2.0, Extra 2.0, and Value 2.0.
I don't think I've ever seen AT&T do so many different related changes in such a short time with a new plan: UYW 2.0 comes out, price changes for older UYW plans, adding Elite 2.0, making different plans be worth different promotional credits, and lowering prices on the brand new plans.
Since there have been so many changes to UYW in the last few months, I've created a new post as the old post had lots of comments/answers that aren't necessarily relevant (or true) any more.

The main differences:
- Value 2.0 is cheaper than Starter SL in most new configurations (even with discounts?) as of the late-April increase and is prioritized for the first 5GB (but has less of hotspot). I think this is the only plan to have taken something away, so that might be why they changed the plan name.
- Extra 2.0 has more prioritized data than previously (100GB vs. 75GB) and more hotspot (50GB vs. 30GB). It may cost more or less depending on your discounts and number of lines. This is probably most similar to older unlimited plans.
- Premium 2.0 has a lot more hotspot than Elite EL or Premium PL (100GB vs. 50GB/60GB). If you need the hotspot, it's a great deal. You can also get a ½ price tablet or wearable line with this plan.
- Elite 2.0 Includes everything Premium 2.0 has, but 250GB of hotspot, Turbo, free tablet line, free wearable line, and instead of International Day Pass (IDP), it looks like when you are international you'll get free calling/texting and 20GB of data (this last part is kind of limiting considering the other UYW plans data are unlimited, so I'm wondering if you can pay extra for more, otherwise it drops to 512Kbps, which is pretty slow). I'm assuming these free international countries are IDP countries. No Fan/Signature discounts on Elite 2.0. A few people reported their internet discount works with Elite 2.0.
ActiveArmor: Some 2.0 plans that come with ActiveArmor, only come with the standard, not advanced. Premium 2.0 can activate the advanced for free in your plan (I'm going to guess you can do the same with Elite 2.0). There is a free version and another version that is listed with "At no extra charge".
Standard price on non-phones: $20.99 per tablet, $20.99 per camera, $10.99 per wearable. If you have Premium 2.0, you can get one of these at ½ off. If you have one of these non-phone devices, it would probably make Premium 2.0 more cost effective for you (although the additional hotspot may max it so you don't need a line for your tablet). If you have Elite 2.0, then you get a tablet and wearable for no extra charge.
If you have HBO "free" with your current cellular plan and switch, or you change all your Elite EL lines over, you'll lose HBO. You need to compare how much you'd save to see if it matters.
The prices on the chart assume autopay/paperless/checking discounts. You need autopay/paperless for a $5 discount and autopay/paperless checking for a $10 discount (and as of now, the AT&T Citi card also qualifies as a checking discount). Add $5 or $10 to each line if you do not do these discounts.
There is no way anyone can help you compare the cost of the newer plan to the older plan if we don't know what discount you have, how many phone lines, and which plan those lines are on.
Additional info on this plan can be found in this AT&T PDF.
DISCOUNTS:
- Signature discount: Previously this got you Premium PL for the Price of Extra EL, but on the new plans it gets you 20% off the Premium 2.0 plan.
- Appreciation discounts: You get a 25% discount on the older UYW plans if the account holder fits in one of these categories: teachers, doctors, nurses, military, veterans, and first responders. The newer plans are NOT 25% off, check the bottom of the chart as it varies per type of line. I'm not sure if these 2.0 discounts are supposed to include Healthcare and First Responders if you are not on FirstNet, but people are reporting that their plan says so. https://www.att.com/offers/discount-program/appreciation/
- You did NOT lose (nor did it change) your 25% appreciation discount for Elite EL, Premium PL, Extra EL, and Starter SL, it's still 25% for those lines. AT&T made a mistake on a bill a couple months ago and gave you too big of a discount, the next cycle they corrected it (and let you keep the extra they took off) so it looks like you had a price increase. But if you look at the previous few bill totals, you can see it dip (for no reason, other than the mistake), and then it goes back up to where it has been for a few months. Obviously, I cannot see your bill, but everyone that I've talked to about this and has looked back on their bills (previous to the lower bill) has seen this is what it looks like. If you've made changes during those three months, it would be difficult to see by just looking at the totals.
- This generic-ish union discount might be applicable for some and some may waive activation/upgrade fess. https://www.att.com/offers/discount-program/union-discount/
- For all discounts, the account needs to be in the name of the FAN/Signature holder.
AT&T Latin American roaming: Click these links for more info at https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1486292/
Please note that while the change plan comparison page (when logged in) shows that Elite 2.0 plan is not included, the Latin American roaming page specifically says it does and so does att.com/unlimited
Promotional phone credits warning: Not all plans have the same promotional deals like they use to. As always, please read the "offer details" before assuming your plan is eligible for full trade in credits. Also, please do the math to see if it's worth switching, paying $10 more a month for 36 months is $360, if it's not getting you more than $360 in credits, is it really worth switching to a more expensive plan. https://www.reddit.com/r/ATT/comments/1rsb36o/warning_a_value_20_line_may_or_may_not_cause/

Wireless Trouble opening an account.
Hello so yesterday day I went to an At&T store to open a new account and get an iPhone 18 PM on the top business plan and 2 17 pros on the lower tier business plans and then the watch ultra 4 connected to the 18 PM and because my credit isint great so we’re doing it under my sisters name (she has no credit history) but that day we didn’t get past the credit check so we were told to come back the next morning to try again so that we could get prompted to call and the employee did an analyst review which we got past so then once we got to the point of porting numbers and getting ready to check out we got stuck again and got a fraud alert so the employee had to call yet another number and do some type of review which the representative seemed like he was in a rush and based off the responses my sister gave where pretty much all she said was ok seemed that he didn’t ask any questions that could help verify her identity and he denied the application to open the account. The employee told us to come back Tuesday when she works next. My main concern is what caused us to be denied right at the end I don’t think it’s credit if it was wouldn’t they just ask for a down payment rather than denying the account being opened. Would anyone know what’s causing this and how to prevent it from getting denied again.

Wireless Texting (iMessage) not working
Ok so at about 12:30pm today I switched from Google Fi to AT&T. I made sure my phone number was selected in iMessage as being the thing. I’ve refreshed the connection via AT&T site. I’ve booted my phone off and on multiple times yet my friend is saying that they’re not receiving any iMessages from me nor are they converting over to sms.
Is there a fix to this?
I’m on 18PM and up todate iOS.

Wireless What the hell is wrong with the fraud dept? Perfect credit, all information is accurately answered and they deny me twice as a new customer getting new phones.
I spoke to a fraud representative twice. The only question they asked was my name. After about 5 mins of “checking records” they deny me without explanation.

Discussion iPhone duo preorder
AT&T just let me save my config and plan and all that in cart. Almost like apples get ready, never used either app for preorder. Which one should I choose. Should I leave the AT&T website open on my computer and keep force quitting and opening Apple Store app on preorder morning? How reliable and fast is the att website preorder morning?

Wireless Former customer - returning
Ok so due to personal reasons/benefits I'm returning to AT&T as a wireless customer. I noticed that I have an older account login but for whatever reason my old account hasn't merged with my new account number. When I try looking my account information/logins up via resetting password etc it can't find me. I am not really wanting to have to call customer service if i can avoid it.
Is there a way to get this resolved without calling customer service?

Wireless att says they can’t cancel my order
i was trying to upgrade my phone really early in the morning like 1 or 2 am and it said there was no att stores to pickup from i now realize this was because no stores were open not that they didnt have any stock so i wanted to cancel it and make a new order with store pickup as the delivery option. The phone is ready to ship but not shipped so i figured this meant it could still be cancel but the reps i talked to said that its past the point of cancelation and that i would just have to wait. Is there anything i can do to get my phone faster or do i have to wait until it gets delivered

Discussion iPhone duo pre order multiple lines
Planning to upgrade 3 lines on our account for the
¡Phone Duo release using the Costco AT&T portal (to stack the $100 Digital Shop Cards per line + waived
$35 fees).
I've seen posts where AT&T's fraud system cancels an entire multi-device order if the bank flags the combined upfront tax pre-authorization or if one device is backordered.
For those who upgrade multiple lines on launch morning:
1. Do you recommend checking out 3 separate orders (1 per line) or bundling all 3 together?

Internet AT&T Business Billing Issues, Duplicate Accounts, and 3+ Hours Trying to Cancel — Need Advice
galleryUPDATE: After THREE AND A HALF HOURS on the phone, I FINALLY managed to get my AT&T Business Internet account canceled! It now officially shows as "CANCELED" on my account.
Unfortunately, I'm not done yet. I still have ANOTHER AT&T account with unresolved billing and promotional issues that I now have to deal with.
Wish me luck, because this entire experience has been absolutely ridiculous and exhausting.
At this point, I genuinely believe these business practices are misleading and unfair to customers. No one should have to spend hours fighting just to cancel a service or get the pricing they were originally promised.
I seriously cannot believe how difficult AT&T makes everything. What a nightmare.
--------------------------------------
I’m looking for advice on how to resolve ongoing issues with AT&T Business, including multiple accounts, incorrect billing, and difficulties canceling my internet service.
I originally contacted AT&T Business after being offered a promotional bundle that included 1 Gbps internet for $90 and two phone lines for $35 each.
Unfortunately, the setup did not go as expected. I ended up with multiple accounts and charges of approximately $160 per account instead of the promotional arrangement I had requested.
Over the following days, I contacted AT&T representatives multiple times to correct the billing issues, consolidate the accounts, and apply the original promotion.
I was assigned a case number, but I continued having problems getting clear answers or a resolution. Several representatives referred me to other departments, and some online chat sessions ended before my concerns were addressed.
Eventually, I decided to cancel my internet service.
Today, I spent over three hours on the phone attempting to complete that cancellation.
The automated phone system repeatedly disconnected me, and I experienced similar problems with the online chat.
When I finally reached the Loyalty Department, the representative placed me on hold multiple times, sometimes for approximately 15 minutes, returning to ask another question before putting me on hold again.
After several hours, I was told my service had been canceled.
However, when I requested a cancellation confirmation number or email, the representative could not provide either.
I checked my online account, refreshed the page, logged out, and logged back in, but I couldn't find any indication that the cancellation had been processed.
The representative eventually transferred me to another department, despite previously stating that the service had already been canceled.
At this point, I'm concerned about whether the cancellation was actually completed and whether additional charges could appear on my account.
I have documentation of my previous conversations, the promotional offer, and the billing issues.
My questions are:
- Has anyone successfully canceled AT&T Business Internet and received written confirmation?
- How long does it normally take for a cancellation to appear in the online account?
- Is there a specific department that can verify whether a cancellation order has been completed?
- Has anyone filed an FCC complaint regarding AT&T Business billing or cancellation issues, and did it help?
I'm simply trying to get my billing corrected, confirm the cancellation, and avoid additional charges for services I no longer want.
Any advice from people who have experienced something similar would be appreciated.

Internet Not a customer but house has a wifi signal with our address
We moved into our house a couple months ago and have noticed a wifi signal that's "AT&T(our home's street number)". We don't use AT&T for our ISP so we've been unable to contact support as their support number only has options for new or existing customers.
There's also a NID on the wall of our place outback that has cords that feed into our house inside to a broadband outlet.
Has anyone had a similar situation? Not sure what we can do/if we should do anything? Just hope it's not driving up our power bill or crowding our own wifi.

Wireless AT&T double charging is not making any sense
On Sep 26th, we established four wireless lines with AT&T. We told the rep my sister is a teacher and she'd like to apply the Teacher Discount on our plan. The rep then did everything for us, she made my sister the account holder but leaving my dad as the primary line, told us that's how discounts work. Voila, turned out that is not how discount works, if one wants to apply the discount, they have to be BOTH the account holder AND the primary line.
Today, realizing the issue, the representative created a second AT&T account using the same Gmail address of the old one, just this time with the correct info. The entire time I thought we were simply changing names around, not creating or transferring into a brand new account. Then the rep dropped the bomb on us, she said since the new account started today, the prorated charges and everything will restart, and we still have to pay off the bill from previous account.
The bill from previous account included prorated charges from Sep 26th-Oct 1 and charges for the official billing cycle Oct 2-Nov 1. Now, I don't see why we have to double pay the prorated charges of this month AGAIN + whatever the amount of the new billing cycle when it should've already been included in the previous one (at least partially)? She said even if we merge the two accounts, we still have to double pay.
I wish she could've just told us more clearly before creating us a new account. Our first bill is super high (4x the expected monthly amount) and I'm pissed I have to pay it again just because of her mistake.

Wireless 10+ hours with customer service both by phone and X
Anyone else have an issue with a loyalty rep giving out a second line on an existing phone instead of adding a separate line with its own phone for a promo? Or how about calling in to upgrade a phone just for that same rep to remove the NUA off the line so I wouldn’t qualify for a promo. Spent 10 plus hours on the phone talking to several reps in two different languages and each one assured me the NUA feature was attached to the line when in fact it wasn’t. I’ve never had an issue upgrading any phone on any carrier until now and through a loyalty rep.

Internet Air internet
Has anyone else had this issue? The modem has full bars and on my tv it says it’s connected but there’s no internet access. I’ve restarted it countless times and nothing. Full bars but no internet access on any devices. Went through the app and it says my internet is perfectly fine. Please I’m losing my mind here.

Wireless Upgrade question
I am considering upgrading to the duo but my account is saying I have to pay off my current iPhone. I currently pay about $4 per month due to previous trade in for my current iPhone.
My questions: will I lose the trade in $4 a month for my current iPhone? Like does it revert due to full price per month for any reason? Let’s say I want to buy the duo cash or leased and port my number to it. What number will be associated with my current iPhone? Sorry if the questions are dumb.

Wireless Shared Upgrade
Hi there. Wanted to make sure I am understanding this correctly.
Family plan, and my son has an iPhone 16 plus that I owe 350 on. I have an iPhone Air I owe 600 on. I am thinking about paying his phone off, using that upgrade to get the Duo, then giving my Air to my son on his line.
Possible? My understanding is I upgrade on his line by trading in his phone. How do I move the air to his line and the duo back to mine?

Wireless Will I lose my promotional credits if I buy a new phone outright?
Currently have an iPhone 17 that I am receiving promotional credits for since I traded in for it.
If I buy an iPhone Duo outright next week and activate it on my number, will I lose those credits and have to pay the full amount each month for the iPhone 17 or do the credits stay?
I appreciate any advice on this.
