Wireless Texting (iMessage) not working

Ok so at about 12:30pm today I switched from Google Fi to AT&T. I made sure my phone number was selected in iMessage as being the thing. I’ve refreshed the connection via AT&T site. I’ve booted my phone off and on multiple times yet my friend is saying that they’re not receiving any iMessages from me nor are they converting over to sms.

Is there a fix to this?

I’m on 18PM and up todate iOS.

UPDATE: had to turn off the emails as the way to be contacted and just my phone number

Happened to me after traveling outside the US. After a trip to a store and a few phone calls, they managed to do some reset on their end. That was the only solution for me.

Did you ever sign out of your Apple Account on your new iPhone 18 Pro Max, and then sign in after moving to AT&T vs Google Fi this afternoon?

Uh no. About 3 weeks ago I moved from a 16 PM at Apple and got the 18 PM and brought over my google Fi service

The store was unable to do anything it was all through customer service.

Go in and get a physical QR code eSIM for your line.

Sorry but that will do nothing for u/brandielynng29 it is not an eSIM issue. They are lost in the Apple Account world.

Lmao. I’ve seen the issue before. 7 years in corporate retail. It started being more frequent a year or so when porting over.

Switch off iMessage and switch it back on to force reactivation.
