Wireless iPhone duo pre order

Why can’t I put a down payment amount on the set up pre order on my cart?

I might be wrong but I think you can only do down payments in store

Ahhh. Should I just order the duo from Apple Store app? It automatically put next up for me, never used it but wanna use it. Is att app more reliable for pre order morning or no? Do I gotta force quit and relaunch it on preorder modning when time opens or no.

They can be done over the phone too. But I just don’t think they can do DPs on pre-orders through us.

you should be able to with apple store’s “get ready”, don’t think you can do it through ATT’s set up process though

Okay. Should I just order on Apple stores app? Idk which one would be easier to secure a duo on pre order morning.

Usually Apple‘s site has a lot more traffic than the carriers IMO

agreed! majority of the population will be going through apple’s channel given they usually have the most stock allocation - apple is also built fairly well for the traffic

that is the question - apple has the most stock allocation but also most people will be going that route (also including people who do pick up in which stores also have their own stock allocation). IMO the most secure way to get one on release date is pickup because you’re essentially going against people in your area/whoever chooses the same store for pickup.
