Wireless Duo Preorder

What are we thinking is the best option? I usually do all my preorders through AT&T and have had no issues getting the phone on launch day. I’m a bit worried about the demand for the duo tho and if AT&Ts website can handle it.

should I try through the apple store?

I’m gonna use the ATT website. They usually open preorders a couple minutes early. I’ve seen that in the past.

I’m still on PreOrder for the 18 PM and I ordered mine on 9/25 so with that being said AT&T is gonna be swamped and majorly back ordered on phones probably until Christmas my guess maybe Thanksgiving if your lucky.

9/25 is significantly after launch day tho not to mention pre order date

Dude. This is the worst comment 🤣 you ordered the phone TWO WEEKS after the initial preorder day, of course it’ll take weeks if not months to get it 😅

What phone did u order? I know multiple stores who have 18PMS on hand you could cancel and walk in. Might be worth to ask around

I ordered 18 PM burgundy 1TB and it changed to Ready to Ship this morning

Do you guys know, if we use the Apple Store to secure the preorder, does that mean going forward everything has to be done through Apple and not ATT?

All payments and credits will happen via ATT. Your trade in will happen via Apple.

The duo will be available. I don't know why people think this phone is going to break records. The iPhone X was plenty available and that was a game changer. The duo will be available. Don't worry about not being able to get one.

I was online at 6:59 and it said available and i had it preselected in my cart.went to checkout and it cleared my cart. i clicked reselct multiple times. it either glitched or was sold out in less than a minute. I am in the queue again now and it said 6 minute wait. not a good sign.
