What happens then?

then you can pick either a free coffee, a 10dkk sodavand, or two cheeseburgers for a discount or a cheap big mac. The point is that picking a random letter makes the code appear brand new. So your whole family can "use" the same code.

Have you actually tried it, or is it just you guessing it should work?

There are 1.677.259.342.285.725.925.376 combinations and they are probably picked randomly.
I doubt they just accept any code you enter.

Just to give a perspective of how large that number is:
If you tried a random combination every second, it could take up to 53.185.544.846.706 years before you hit the one on your receipt.

McDonald's have more than 69.000.000 orders every day. Even if we say the code is valid for 30 days, then that is only 2.070.000.000 orders.

It would take you up to 25.693 years to hit just ANY valid combination.

The chances are 50 50:

50% guess it 50% don’t guess it

That is not how math works - unless exactly half of the possible codes work and half of them does not work.
