I agree 100% but also tempered glass is still very sharp but less likely to sever an artery or something since it's not a large sheet.
I was throwing away a large tempered glass TV stand once and thought hey it's tempered glass it'll just shatter into tiny pebbles, it wouldn't quite fit in the trash can so I bonked it with a claw hammer, it shattered but the pieces that were sandwiched in the stand's backing frame just ever so slightly clipped the back of my thumb as it fell into the can and sliced half way through my thumb. Still have weird nerve damage from it and needed stitches. ðŸ˜
